Our client, a trading company with business interests in West Africa and Europe is looking for an experienced senior purchaser with good experience in purchasing FMCG and other related products for Supermarkets. Experience is dealing with international suppliers is important for this role,

Job’s Objective:

  • Procurement and purchase of products and equipment as required by clients
  • Guarantee all necessary documentation and billing, and share with logistics department
  • Follow the various processes until products arrive to customer, working closely with logistics department
  1. II) Main Responsibilities
  • Procurement of suppliers
  • Make purchases ensuring the best trading conditions
  • Track all purchasing processes under responsibility until delivery to the customer
  • Responsible for requesting and obtaining all documentation relating to purchasing processes
  • Issue your billing to the customer

Requirements:

  1. IV) Requisites
  • Previous experience of 3 – 5 years similar function
  • Communicate in English, spoken and written fluently
  • Experience in food purchases – required to have worked in trading or food distribution companies selling to African market
  • MS Office’s knowledge from the user’s perspective
  • Normal office hours from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 18:00.
