Scope and Purpose:
- SALES of Currency Automation Products and Services in the MEA region in coordination with Head of Pre Sales, MEA Sales Team & Marketing CTCS Africa / Middle East and in compliance with regional sales strategy
- Win market share in the Cash Center Automation field-of-play in Central Banks, Commercial Banks and CIT-companies
- Establish and maintain strong and firm relationship to customers
- Gain new clients and support introduction of new products
- Attend to the customer during the complete sales cycle and follow up project milestones in close cooperation with Sales Administration
- Close deals in coordination with Area Sales Managers, Project-Management and Headquarters staff
- Monitor competitive activities, identify customer future needs in terms of product portfolio and currency automation solutions
- Build up a strong link to the Product Marketing / Management team
Key Result Areas / Responsibilities:
- Achieve assigned individual sales targets, as well as company objectives for the allocated sales area
- Liaise and negotiate with all levels, but also with high ranking public and private sector staff
- Close deals and sign sales and maintenance contracts with direct customers
- Report and forecast sales activities
- Monitor and report competitor activities
- Travel extensively within sales area to build up and maintain customer relationship
Job Requirements:
- At least 8 to 10 years of Technical Sales experience in the Africa and/or Middle East region
- Advanced technical or business related degree
- Experience in developing and presenting solution designs as part of the pre-sales activities preferably in a Cash Center environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, ability for multitasking and leading intercultural teams in the MEA region
- Detail-oriented and persistent in execution and follow-up of tasks
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Capability to listen, comprehend customer’s need and derive adequate technical and commercial solutions
- Mature approach to business and understanding of core principles of key account management
- Candidate must be willing to travel extensively all over the Middle East and African region (50%)
- Candidate should be fluent in English language, French language would be appreciated as a second foreign language, Arabic is a plus
- Candidate should have experience with 2D drawing tools such as Auto CAD and experience in material flow calculation and related software applications
- Strong ability to integrate Hardware and Software based on Portfolio and Non- Portfolio components.
