The purpose of the role is to achieve annual Order Entry targets in the assigned territory in Africa or CIS countries through key account focus, following sales processes and promoting customer offerings, campaigns and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Defend company’s interests by adhering to HOERBIGER Code of Conduct and Compliance Standards;
  • Adhere to Safety procedures; ensure safe working environment for self and direct reports, if any;
  • Achieve annual Sales target (Order Entry) of products, services and solutions generated from the Oil & Gas (Upstream & Downstream, Onshore and Offshore), Power Generation and other sectors in allotted territory;
  • Plan and conduct market research to identify business opportunities to increase the sales in specified countries;
  • Network and monitor market to identify competitor activities, build up appropriate contacts, prospective business opportunities and market database;
  • Form sales strategies to maintain leadership position;
  • Negotiate on project opportunities including coordination, kick-off meetings with customers;
  • Clearly communicate to the client on the company scope and customer scope;
  • Attend RFQs and coordinate with Regional Customer Service to ensure that proper techno-commercial offers are submitted to clients in time.
  • Ensure that relevant information and data required for submitting a complete proposal is collected and forwarded to Customer Service.
  • Track projects and follow up incoming orders in cooperation with other departments (Customer Service, Business Development, Procurement, Engineering and Finance);
  • Create visit reports for each opportunity in salesforce.com, monitor sales budget, leads and opportunities, keeping CRM updated;
  • Support cash collection on Accounts Receivables and strive to avoid over-dues;
  • Prepare and deliver effective power-point presentations on business cases, projects, products and services to external and internal stakeholders.

What you should bring with you

  • Prior experience in managing O&G customers and business travel in African countries or CIS countries is essential
  • Experience in Rotating Equipment, Compressors, Gas Engines
  • Academic knowledge / University degree: Bachelor’s Degree Mechanical Engineering
  • > 5 years of industry experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong integrity standards
  • Demonstrated strong Service results in similar industry environment
  • Experience in ERP systems such as SAP and CRM
  • Successful candidate must have the attributes of ownership, high energy, good organizational skills and leadership, team play and the willingness to go the extra mile
