We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Auto Spare Parts Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the African market. The ideal candidate will be a driven and results-oriented professional with a deep understanding of the African automotive industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Strategy and Expansion:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the African market, including identifying growth opportunities, target segments, and key accounts.
- Continuously analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences to adapt the sales approach accordingly.
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team across various regions within Africa.
- Set clear sales targets and performance metrics, regularly monitor team performance, and provide coaching and guidance to achieve and exceed goals.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners to drive business growth and customer loyalty.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Lead the sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets by effectively promoting and selling our range of auto spare parts.
- Identify new business opportunities and channels to drive sales expansion and increase market share.
- Inventory Management and Logistics:
- Collaborate closely with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure optimal stock levels, timely deliveries, and efficient distribution of spare parts across the African market.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to the senior management team.
- Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and continuously improve sales strategies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in auto spare parts sales, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the African market.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the African automotive industry, market trends, and customer preferences.
- Proficiency in using sales and CRM software.
- Ability to travel frequently within the African region.
