Description:
We are a certified Minority/Women-owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) and a boutique and award-winning tour company conducting hidden history, diversity and inclusion tours seeks dynamic individuals to lead NYC tours. We conduct in-person and virtual tours/classes for individuals and groups from around the nation and the world. Although we prefer licensed NYC tour guides, we are willing to train the right individuals who are willing to take and pass the licensing test.
Requirements:
- Expertise in African American History Tours
- Expertise in Civil Right History Tours
- PHD or master’s Level specialization in African American history
- Teaching Experience focusing on African American and/or Civil Rights history focusing on People of Colour
- Be enthusiastic, personable and intellectually engaging. Please be able to spend time working outside even in cold or hot weather. Also, please be open to being trained.
