Description:
Long-established Metals Fabricator needs energetic, qualified people for their Northern suburbs factory in Cape Town.
Key tasks:
- Design, creation and maintenance of tools for metal presses and spring-making machines. Involvement in machine maintenance and setting.
- Assisting machine operators to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Tool Setter: You must have at least 5 years’ hands-on experience in the setting of press tools.
- Tool Maker: You must be a fully qualified toolmaker with trade papers, and have extensive experience in designing, making, adjusting and repairing progression tools. This is a ‘hands on’ position.
- Setting of press tools.
- Assistance with machine maintenance.
- Assistance to machine operators.
