Description:

Looking to hire a Tailor/Seamstress on a Full time or Part-time basis. Must be willing to work from a location in Randburg Ferndale initially, with the prospect of being asked to change location if need be.

 Requirements:

• A strong team player and a good communicator. MUST have a Strong Work Ethic, show initiative, provide suggestions and be a self-starter.
• Extremely good attention to detail (producing a high-quality output).
• Be attentive and fully open to client and team feedback.
• Willing to constantly improve their technical and sewing skills continuously.
• Honest beyond reproach.
• High degree of confidence and ability to communicate well with clients, teammates and superiors.
• Respects and consistently and continuously delivers on extremely tough timelines.
• Deadlines cannot be missed.
• Be willing and able to work overtime at short notice as and when required.
• Have high-quality traceable references.
• Punctuality Standard.
• Creative and willing to take on challenging new creative tasks to create a high-quality finished garment independently and without supervision from scratch based on pictures provided.
• Being able to conceptualize designs, make patterns and construct a final high quality neatly sewn garment from scratch, independently without supervision.
• Delivering high- quality finished garments on tight deadlines – EVERYTIME (Deadlines are generally non-negotiable).
• Minimum sewing experience – 3 full years+.
• Can maintain a clean and well-organized workspace.
• Must have a phone that is WhatsApp enabled.

Note: Interview will comprise of an oral and practical component. The practical component will be requiring you to create a pattern, and complete the garment to show case you’re sewing and finishing skills and quality of work
