Description:

We are looking to hire a hardworking, customer-oriented store employee to ensure the smooth running of in-store retail operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming customers and demonstrating effective communication skills.
  • Monitoring customers activities to prevent shoplifting.
  • Arranging stock and window displays accordingly.
  • Ability to identify the customer’s needs and recommend suitable store items that best satisfy their needs.
  • Receiving, processing and organizing deliveries accordingly.
  • Restocking depleted or low store items and ensuring that the sales floor is organised according to guidelines.
  • Addressing and resolving customer complaints in a professional manner Processing customers payment using the stores.
  • Point of Sale (POS) system
  • Assisting customers in locating desired store items
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of store items to provide advice and recommendations as needed Informing customers on store promotions to encourage purchases
  • Performing end-of-day cleaning duties, which includes wiping down counters, windows, and fixtures as well as sweeping and mopping the store floor

Requirements:

Matric, Retail experience, Strong organisation skills, Effective communication skills, Detail oriented, Exceptional customer service skills, must reside in Hillcrest or Bothas hill.
