Job Description:

  • To provide our customers the best satisfaction that revolves around quality of food and service. Providing a quality experience for our customers is of paramount to our success. A specialty cook is responsible to produce Caribbean and Filipino menus to specifications.
  • Seeking someone with high potential that can become an integral part of our business
  • Ability to prepare and cook Caribbean (Latin, Indian, Chinese, and African influences), Vegan, and Filipino recipes
  • Prepare and cook food per recipes, quality, and presentation standards
  • Read, write, and follow food specifications and menu guidelines in English
  • Handle fish, shrimp, beef, pork, poultry, and other food products
  • Convert recipes into large quantities for production
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
  • Prepare sauces
  • Work assigned schedule which may include multiple shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Set-up and break down work station
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
  • Fill-in in other areas when necessary

Experienced using the following cooking equipment’s:

  • Grill Master
  • Fryers
  • Ovens
  • Stoves
  • Braising Pans
  • Food Packer
  • General Utility
