Description:

• We are seeking to recruit an energetic freelance Social Media Strategy, Content Creation and Community Manager. If you are a tech-savvy professional, experienced in social media, PR and promotional events, we would like to meet you.
• Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and can develop engaging content. You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and ultimately, act as the face and voice of our brand and manage all community communications.
• This role will sit at the heart of our small dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Marketing Communications Manager (currently being recruited for) and Founder to promote exciting high-profile events, campaigns and key messages.
• You must have a passion for engaging with and growing audiences, love creating and managing affiliate and influencer networks and want to raise consciousness through an African lens whilst empowering and uplifting women.

Responsibilities:

• Set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies. Support and create/edit engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts.
• Organise and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
• Co-ordinate with relevant team members to ensure brand consistency
• Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists
• Manage our affiliate and UGC content network – keep them motivated and on brand
• Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
• Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends
