PICHA. pichastock.com, a free and paid stock photo platform specialised in Afrocentric communities is looking for a Social Media Manager Contractor.

Fully remote position, performance-based – you have the freedom to set your own working hours BUT the responsibility to make sure you have completed the necessary tasks each day. We are looking for a social media manager familiar and interested in Afro cultures who can fully step into the role and take command of PICHA’s online voice while working on a fully remote team. A creative professional who is truly passionate about #RepresentationMatters and has excellent time management skills.

Must-Haves, Self-Motivated & Dedicated, highly organized, must be able to manage multiple campaigns at once, Problem solver, Action-oriented, Experience with a social scheduling platform, Design (Canva & Photoshop) Experience, Sound copywriting abilities.

Reliable internet connection (must be available for a weekly video call with the team).

Capable computer & cell phone.

Reliability, initiative and communication are essential in this role.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manager the brands Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube & Pinterest.
• Work closely with the team to conceptualize, develop, plan and execute social media campaigns that help to achieve the company’s marketing goals Creating high-quality original written for social media campaigns.
• Create high-quality visual content for social media campaigns.
• Engage with PICHA’s communities to drive engaging conversations, ensuring brand-related questions, comments.
• Monitor the company’s social media accounts and use social listening to engage in meaningful ways. Develop monthly social media reports.
• Keep up with emerging social media trends and come up with original ideas on how the brand can participate.
• Must be at ease as a community manager and comfortable engaging influencers and industry thought leaders.
• Able to develop the right voice for each social media platform.
• Contribute to the company blog on a regular basis.
• Must be a team player.
