About:
A very well-established IT company with an international footprint in UK, is looking for a ‘Senior IT Support Engineer’ to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in Durbanville, Cape Town.
Position Requirements:
- At least 5 years’ experience in IT desktop support, At least 3 years’ experience in IT server and cloud infrastructure support.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Solid IT product knowledge is essential- Microsoft Cloud Services Knowledge.
- IT Hardware Knowledge.
- IT Networking Knowledge.
- Internet Connectivity Services Knowledge.
- Telephone Systems Knowledge.
- IT Security solutions Knowledge.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport beneficial.
- Good quality references required.
Technology Requirement:
- Microsoft 365
- Windows 10
- Microsoft Office
- Desktop and Laptop hardware
- Basic network troubleshooting
- Router/Firewall understanding
Responsibilities:
- Maintain Knowledge of Industry Trends.
- Provide phone support from company office and occasionally from home.
- Manage your time efficiently to attend to all required tasks for the day.
- Must be willing to work to achieve certifications from leading IT vendors.
