Description:

We are looking for a young, hardworking individual who is dynamic and is target driven, to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promote sales and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
  • Promote sales and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through electronic and social media.
  • Demonstrates products to existing and potential customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  • Prepare and makes telephone calls, in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers, generating call and email lists determine their potential.
  • Generate potential leads and target businesses that could use our products and services.
  • Coordinate sales effort with marketing, sales, accounts and technical.
  • Analyse the various areas potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers’ value.
  • Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing the GP for the Product within the company parameters.
  • Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services.
  • Product Knowledge and Further Development.
  • Keep up to date with new products, market conditions, advertising, and promotional trends through the reading of relevant literature and training.
  • Identify advantages and compare organization’s products.
  • Be a Team Player Performing any other task, not specified herein, which from time to time may be assigned by the manager.
  • Management and Updating of CRM and Internal systems and reporting Tools.
  • Prepare month end reports and future forecasting based on sales lead generation.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an IT Sales Representative or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of IT systems, hardware and software will be an advantage.
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas.
  • Have a Matric Certificate. Diploma/ Degree in Sales or Marketing will be an advantage.
  • Have a valid drivers’ license & own RELIABLE vehicle.
  • Ability to learn products and services and explain them to clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communications skills.
  • Ability to handle rejection.
  • Be bilingual Afrikaans & English.
  • Must live in the Northern Suburbs Western Cape.
  • Ensure Personal hygiene standards are maintained.
  • Ensure you are of sober habits.
  • Have a clear credit and criminal record.
