Qualified Accountant is looking for Royal Security

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Perform senior accountant and other projects for various entities, including individuals/sole proprietors, trusts, and companies.
• Maintain sound team relationships.
• Contribute to the management of a portfolio of companies in respect of attest, accounting, and consultation work. Reconciliations / Vast knowledge of Pastel.
• Bookkeeping to Trial Balance.
• Drafting of Financial Statements and Management Accounts.
• Perform general accounting functions.
• Budgets, cash flows, and forecasts.
• Processing of data.
• Manage teams on the job.
• Run and manage special projects.
• Risk management.
• Monitors costs against budgets.
• Contribute to the development of staff.
• Report writing.
• General administration.
• Audit on an occasional basis.

Requirements:

• Previous experience within an accounting firm.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting.
• Must have own transport to travel to work.
• SAICA/ SAIPA Qualified Will Be A Huge Advantage

Competencies / Skills:

• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Computer literate – excellent knowledge of Pastel, Ms. Word, and Excel.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently, as part of the team, or in charge of the team.
• Sound administration skills.
• Must have sound technical knowledge including IFRS/IFRS for SME experience.
• Must be able to demonstrate and apply industry knowledge.
• Must be able to work overtime when necessary.
• Display sound leadership skills.
• Self-motivated and pay attention to detail.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of Agribusiness will be an advantage
• Submission of tax returns, well versed with e filing VAT, personal Assets and liabilities, and submission of provisional taxes email C V with salary expectations and current payslip or last irp5 -if these documents are not sent consider this an automatic disqualification.
