Description:

We are looking for a Senior Manager to join the Rock and Roll and edgy Rocomamas brand.

We have a few prerequisites for this role so please ensure you meet them before applying: This is for a senior or higher position and you must therefore have ample (3-5 + years) restaurant experience in a management position. The role affords the opportunity for growth and therefore we need some solid experience. If you have more experience, we will assess you for other opportunities available in the group. You need to be computer literate and be able to work on POS systems. If you have Franchise experience + Pilot this would be a plus.

This is the restaurant industry, and you must therefore be willing to put in the hours. Incentives are in place to reward you for your work. We are looking for someone to stick with us for a while, this is no pit stop.

Own transport is non-negotiable immediately when starting the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations.
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
  • Regularly review product quality and research new vendors.
  • Organize and supervise shifts.
  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
  • Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it.
  • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
  • Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.
  • Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events. Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g., discounts and social media ads).
  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.
  • Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.
