About the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Social Worker/Regional Service Delivery Coordinator in Melbourne to manage our services and lead our multicultural small team of social workers, counsellors, students, implementing various projects aimed at keeping families safe.

Criteria:

Must have an Australian qualification/recognized qualification in Social Work and work experience in the social services sector in Australia or Overseas.

Skills/Qualifications required:

  • A degree in Social Work from Australia or New Zealand or overseas.
  • More than 3 years of social work experience in Australia or New Zealand or overseas is required.
  • Ability to manage crisis intervention, case assessment, casework, and case management skills.
  • Good administration, coordination, and relationship management skills as team leader.
  • Strong attention to details, be organised and methodical.
  • Non-profit organisation work ethics.
  • Able to work well under pressure, priorities and multitask effectively.
  • Good command over spoken and written English as well as report-writing skills.
  • Spoken and written fluency in at least one Asian, Middle Eastern or African language can be advantage.
  • Empathetic and good listener.
  • Passionate about working with Immigrant & Refuge women and children and ensuring their safety while promoting social equality.
  • Motivated to be a social change agent.
  • Willing to put in the extra mile for a worthy cause.
