Two Black Bruins (2BB) is a growing virtual event production, consulting, and marketing firm. Started by two UCLA alum and former college roommates, 2BB is a collaboration between Stella Ashaolu, MBA, and CEO of tech company WeSolv and April Johnson, Esq and CEO of Happied. The name 2BB pays homage to their alma mater’s mascot – the UCLA Bruins and their ethnic heritage as African American women. 2BB has worked with several high-powered companies such as Disney, Verizon, and Yahoo News. 2BB key activities include virtual event production, tech consulting, project management, end-to-end marketing, graphic design, and web design and development.

Role Description:
The Program Manager will be responsible for managing various aspects of virtual events to execution. The Program Manager will communicate with the client and 2BB leadership to coordinate logistics for all aspects of the event execution. This includes coordinating with celebrity event talent, uploading and keeping track of stakeholder bios and headshots, circulating social media content, generating calendar invites and Zoom links, sending RSVP and logistics emails, and responding to customer service inquiries for events. The Program Manager is expected to provide timely, top-tier service throughout the entire experience.
Responsibilities:
Account Management: The Program Manager will handle the following aspects of virtual events assigned to said manager-
- Project Management
- Creating project plans
- Working with various contractors such as designers
- Filing and tracking stakeholder assets
- Communications
- Welcome emails
- Logistics emails with instructions and Zoom links
- Responses to event customer service inquiries
- Follow-up email post-event
- Scheduling
- Scheduling panellists and other talent
- Coordinating walk throughs with talent
- Sending calendar invites to all attendees and talent
- Quality Control/Troubleshooting
- Responding to customer complaints
- Coordinating replacement shipments of all or partial shipments
- Coordinating refunds
Requirements:
- The successful candidate will be very detail oriented and an excellent verbal and written communicator.
- They will be extremely organized, friendly, and responsive.
- They should be a problem solver and self-starter, committed to providing exceptional service and have a can-do attitude.
- A bachelor’s degree is desired along with previous project management and stakeholder management experience.
