Program Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Support on the consultation, application, and study support for UK‐bound students (30%) Support students regarding their plans, subject of study in UK Universities and university applications
  • Support with the management of the preparation year for all students
  • Assist with the development of curriculum and schedule in coordination with other staff.
  • Support the recruitment team with the recruitment of students. This includes screening applications and conducting interviews.
  • Providing support with marketing, promotion and fundraising as required.
  • Recruiting, supervising and guiding interns as required.
  • Assisting with the development and alignment of any of Ashinaga Uganda’s programs

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree.
  • Fluent English.
  • Knowledge and work experience in the UK system of higher education (experience in taking entrance examinations of UK Universities or studying at UK universities is preferred).
  • Having a student-focused approach and a willingness to adapt teaching materials and methods.
  • Be flexible and able to work in a dynamic and new environment.
  • Easily work in a culturally diverse office environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with challenging situations and relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
  • A willingness to do clerical desk work.
  • Experience working as part of a team.
  • Advanced with Microsoft Office Suite.
