Program Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- Support on the consultation, application, and study support for UK‐bound students (30%) Support students regarding their plans, subject of study in UK Universities and university applications
- Support with the management of the preparation year for all students
- Assist with the development of curriculum and schedule in coordination with other staff.
- Support the recruitment team with the recruitment of students. This includes screening applications and conducting interviews.
- Providing support with marketing, promotion and fundraising as required.
- Recruiting, supervising and guiding interns as required.
- Assisting with the development and alignment of any of Ashinaga Uganda’s programs
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree.
- Fluent English.
- Knowledge and work experience in the UK system of higher education (experience in taking entrance examinations of UK Universities or studying at UK universities is preferred).
- Having a student-focused approach and a willingness to adapt teaching materials and methods.
- Be flexible and able to work in a dynamic and new environment.
- Easily work in a culturally diverse office environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with challenging situations and relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
- A willingness to do clerical desk work.
- Experience working as part of a team.
- Advanced with Microsoft Office Suite.
