Hiring for the position of Product Development Executive (Polymer Chemistry graduates)

Location: UAE

Description:

• One of our prestigious clients who is into manufacturing sector is urgently looking to hire Product development Executive (polymer Chemistry graduates ONLY) to be based in Dubai.
• This is a Junior / Entry level position- Candidate should be qualified Degree / Diploma holders in Polymer chemistry from a university of repute (Mandatory) in South Africa / any of Eastern European Countries
• Make sure that you are reading KRA & KCR of this role before proceeding to application process
• Candidates who are based in South Africa / Eastern Europe will be acceptable until and unless they have sound knowledge about plastics / polymers / plastic materials etc.

Key Competencies Required (KCR):

• MUST be qualified in Polymer Chemistry-Fresh graduates or with max 2-3 years’ experience in Business Development / Sales / QC will be preferable but even fresher’s with internship experience can be considered.
• Candidates with 2 to 3 years or more in the field of QC / Technical service of the product but passionate about sales and business development.

Languages Required:

• English, along with any South African Language or Arabic (MUST)
• Detailed oriented and excellent organizational and execution skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively with clear objectives and deadlines.
• Ability to think on the ground, assessing and planning troubleshooting strategies.
• A Self-starter and willingness to travel as and when required

Key Result Areas (KRA):

• To work with Sales Managers to understand the unique needs of the converters and end users to identify the gap and initiate technical projects.
• To liaison between the market and the product development department within the company.
• Ability to communicate and work with different levels at the customer especially with the end users with a technical focus.
• To work with R & D personnel based on the information collected from the market to create valuable solutions.
• Work independently as well as cohesively with team members and managers as part of a team.
