We are looking for a friendly, professional, professionally qualified & experienced Nail Technician to join our upmarket and busy salon based in Randpark Ridge, Randburg. You will be responsible to provide nail care treatments to our customers based on their needs and preferences, including polishing fingernails and toenails, painting designs and applying gel and acrylic nails. If you are up to date with nail art techniques and know how to provide excellent customer service, we would love to meet you!

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Remove previously applied polish, acrylic or gel.
• Clean, cut and shape nails. Acrylic nails, tips, gel, acrylic sculpting, nail art, manicure and pedicures. Recommend colours, rhinestones and designs based on each customer’s style.
• Prepare and clean beauty station in-between appointments (sterilise equipment before use).
• Give hand and foot massages. Offer nail care treatment tips (e.g., how to strengthen nails and how to make manicures last longer).
• Inform clients about additional services and offers (e.g., loyalty discounts, eyebrow waxing).
• Up-sell treatments and beauty products, when appropriate.
• Take an interest in customers (e.g., chatting with them during appointments and remembering their preferences).
• Exceptional nail skills and techniques required as well as expert timing in doing specialised nail techniques.
• Must be mature, responsible, passionate and target driven.
• Must be well-groomed to present the brand, neat and big on hygiene.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Must be a Team player, reliable, energetic, goal driven and well spoken.
• Should be able to start immediately.

Education & Experience:

• Matric or Equivalent Certificate (Required).
• Diploma (Required) Proven work experience as a Nail Technician.
