Wesleyan University invites applications for an Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral
Fellowship in African American Studies beginning July 1, 2021. We seek candidates with substantive research and teaching interests in Black Ecologies, geographies, disability studies, queer studies, and/or environmental studies.
The successful candidate will offer courses originating in the African American Studies Department. The fellowship includes limited teaching duties and opportunities for scholarly research and professional development. Renewable for a second year subject to performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. is required in a social science field including African American Studies, Africana Studies, Geography, Sociology, Anthropology, or Political Science, and other social science and interdisciplinary fields.
