About NAFSA:

The National African Student Association (NAFSA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit association founded by a group of passionate individuals who believe, like many, that anyone can make a positive impact on the African continent. Their main objective is to ensure that the young African generation studying abroad can receive the necessary resources and connections to easily succeed academically and professionally. This would then make it easier for them to help the African continent and its diaspora community advance economically, culturally, and socially.

NAFSA’s leadership structure is made up of professionals serving on the Board of Directors on four-year terms and student leaders serving on the National Executive Board on an annual basis. All our team members volunteer their time and expertise to help make a positive impact on the futures of our members and their communities.

Responsibilities:

• Design website to ensure access to relevant information along the organization’s mission
• Coordinate with various Zones to ensure most accurate details are available
• Upkeeps website including events and consistent content
• Forwards any inquiries to the relevant teams for response. Includes passing along candidate information to recruiter
• Generates graphics where needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer related field.
• Masters is a plus
• Website development experience (2 years minimum, 5+ years preferred).
• WordPress is a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Strong computer technical skills
• Proven leadership experience

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends

Education: Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience:

• Digital Marketing- 1 year (Preferred)
• Website management- 2 years (Preferred)
• SEO- 2 years (Preferred)

Work Location: Fully Remote
