Experience: Meat Cutting- 1 year (Preferred)

Job Description:

• Properly handle products and equipment in accordance with food safety and safety guidelines to ensure a safe shopping environment
• To help develop and follow all safe work practices
• Assemble and tear down any equipment in your work are at the beginning and/or end of your shift. Always keep equipment and work area in hygienic condition.
• Experience in meat cutting with a band saw
• Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner, whether the encounter takes place in the employee’s designated department or elsewhere in the store
• Stand in one place for a long period of time, bend, stoop, and kneel regularly
• Lifting to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
• Works with power saw
• Assist in maintaining meat cooler and freezer efficiency by unloading deliveries
• Become familiar with products in the store to answer questions and make suggestions to customers
• Accurately record and assist in preparation of special orders to ensure the customer is delighted with the finished product
• Assist in special projects and perform other functions as assigned by supervisor
