Description:

A Depot in Empangeni is looking for a Logistics & Fleet Administrator whose main functions will be to organizing the day-to-day operation of the company’s transport.

Minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12 Tertiary qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
  • Skills Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
  • Good numeracy and good computer literacy – especially Excel and e-mail.
  • Experience Minimum 3 years supervisory/management experience in distribution/transport FMCG experience.
  • Experience working with JDE advantageous.

Duties:

  • Allocating vehicles to drivers.
  • Monitoring and controlling vehicle movement.
  • Vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • End to end process regarding accidents or incidents and record-keeping related to maintenance and repairs vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, licencing, crate control and other related record-keeping.
