Description:
A Depot in Empangeni is looking for a Logistics & Fleet Administrator whose main functions will be to organizing the day-to-day operation of the company’s transport.
Minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 Tertiary qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
- Skills Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- Good numeracy.
- Good computer literacy – especially Excel and e-mail.
- Experience Minimum 3 years supervisory/management experience in distribution/transport FMCG experience.
- Experience working with JDE advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Allocating vehicles to drivers.
- Monitoring and controlling vehicle movement.
- Vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- End to end process regarding accidents or incidents and record-keeping related to maintenance and repairs vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, licencing, crate control and other related record-keeping.
