Education: Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience: Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)

Description:

LOOKING FOR INSTRUCTORS WHO ARE WILLING AND ABLE TO TEACH AGES 2 – 8 with the option of teaching 8 and up as well.

Responsibilities:

Looking for experienced dance instructors with 2 – 5 (or more) years of teaching experience, able to lesson plan and conduct dance classes safely and on time. We are looking for individuals that are excited, comfortable, and have experience working with children.

Work experience:

Preferred – Worked at a dance studio before; choreography experience for a dance recital is a plus

Dance experience-

• 4+ years of dance experience
• Skills Needed for positions (looking for teachers that possess 3 or more of these styles)
• Ballet, Tap, & Jazz (Acro Dance and or Hip-Hop is a plus)
• Optional: Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Theatre Jazz, Bollywood, African Dance

Note: Applicants with experience in only one area of dance may not be considered.

Dance session: Summer June 2021 – July 2021 – With the opportunity to extend into the fall dance season as a 2021 – 2022 season instructor.

Looking to teach 2 – 5 classes a week

Class time available to teach: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 4p – 9p. With options to work Friday/Saturday evenings.

Summer Camp 2021 Possible Times: Monday – Friday 8a – 4p
