Description:

We are looking to hire an experienced Key Account Manager to maintain solid relationships with the company’s key clients. In addition to that, the Key Account Manager’s responsibilities would also include growing the company’s revenue by ensuring that key clients are satisfied with the services provided, identifying new business opportunities for key clients, and attending all meetings, conventions, and training workshops. You should also be able to develop relationships with potential clients.

To be successful as a Key Account Manager, you should be able to analyses data and sales statistics and improve business and marketing strategies. Ultimately, an exceptional key account manager should be able to manage multiple key accounts without compromising on the quality of services provided.

Key Account Manager Responsibilities:

Developing and sustaining solid relationships with key clients that bring in the most income for the company. Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements. Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.

Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust. Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships. Conduct sales presentations, and help customers through email, phone, and online presentations. Communicating and collaborating with the advertising, design, marketing, sales, and logistics departments to ensure that key clients’ needs are met.

Enhance the organization’s reputation and brand by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Negotiating contracts with key clients and meeting established deadlines for the fulfilment of each client’s long-term goals.

Key Account Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or related field.
  • Proven experience in Key Account Management.
  • Must live within 15km from Cape Town CBD.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level, using remote sales mediums such as, phone email or online presentations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to build rapport with key clients.
  • Ability to handle multiple client accounts.
  • Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
