A logistics company is looking for a Junior Warehouse Controller

Location: Pretoria, South Africa

Job Type: Full-time

Note: There is a huge possibility for long-term growth in the company.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and prepare all trucks/ vehicles and trailers that enter and exit the premises.
• Oversee loading and off-loading of storage items.
• Engage in quality-control of storage and yard personnel.
• Park vehicles, trucks and trailers safely once inspected, prepared, and fuelled.
• Engage in daily administration and reporting.
• Perform basic security duties and continually monitor the CCTV cameras and tracking devices. Maintain general housekeeping of facility.
• Perform office driver duties, as and when required.
• Engage in any ad-hoc responsibilities, as and when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12/ Matric qualification (a relevant tertiary qualification or part-time student beneficial).
• No/ minimal work experience required (entry-level position).
• Code 10 driver’s license (Code 14 highly beneficial), or ability to drive a truck.
• Own reliable transport.
• Proficient verbal and written Afrikaans and English communication.
• Good administration skills and great attention to detail.
• Willing to work shifts on rotation (nightshift included).
• Ideally residing in Pretoria East, or willing to relocate.
