Description:
- Systemology is a Level 1 BBBEE IT Services, Sales and Support Company. We are looking for a ROCKSTAR Sales Manager in Cape Town.
- A minimum of 5 years’ Experience in the IT Sales, Service and Support is compulsory to apply.
- Experience in any of these will be advantageous: Hardware, Software, fibre to the home and fibre to the business, seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation.
Responsibilities:
- As a Business Sales Manager, you will need to research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
- Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone.
- Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients.
- Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these needs.
- Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business.
- Work strategically – carrying out necessary planning to implement operational changes.
- Draw up client contracts – depending on the size of company, this task may be completed by someone else, or agreements may not be as formal.
- Have a good understanding of the businesses’ products or services and be able to advise others about them.
- As the business grows, ensure staff are on board throughout the organisation, and understand the need for change and what is required of them.
- Liaise with the warehousing and logistics departments as appropriate.
- Seek ways of improving the way the business operates.
- Develop business processes to service the customers more efficiently.
- Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world help to develop and plan sales campaigns create a sales pipeline.
- Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases.
- Increase sales of the business.
- Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management/the board of directors, develop the business sales and marketing strategy.
Salary & Benefits:
- R25000 on target earnings per month. 3-month probation period applies.
- After which, if targets are constantly met, we pay a petrol allowance (per km rate) as well as a cell phone Allowance.
- No Commission cap.
Working Hours:
- We usually work a regular 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday week, though you may on occasion have to work longer to meet a project deadline or liaise with a client.
- We are in Information Technology, so availability is important.
