Main Job Tasks, Responsibilities:

  • HR Administration, assist with generating of Purchase orders for department related expenditure.
  • Assist with processing invoices – recruitment, psychometric, polygraph, medicals, coaching.
  • Assist with creating new personal files – hard copy and soft copy.
  • Assist with maintaining of staff documents.
  • Assist with issuing and receiving all devices and the relevant agreements and send to payroll administrator for updating.
  • Overseeing office administration and assisting with HR related activities through liaising and communicating with employees, management, and other related parties to ensure effective and efficient HR support.

Recruiting and On-Boarding Assistance-

  • Assist HR Manager with liaising with the recruitment companies to advise them of the vacancies and ensuring job specifications are communicated.
  • Assist with contacting prospective candidates.
  • Assist with sifting through applicants.
  • Assist with the arrangement of interviews.
  • Arrange dates and venue for polygraph & psychometric assessment.
  • Assist with forwarding interview feedback to the relevant parties.
  • Assist with the submission of all appointment documentation.
  • Assist with the preparation of contract & related documents.
  • Assist with the circulation on boarding and off boarding documents to the relevant parties.
  • Assist with ESS training and access. Assist in the onboarding process for new hires.

Compliance with regulatory concerns-

  • Assisting Arrange medicals for site staff by issuing purchase orders & processing of invoices.
  • Assist with Compilation of the Asbestos renewal application to the Dept of Labour & the submission thereof as well as ensure the new certificate is issued timeously.
  • Assist with B-BEE related activities. Assist Responsible for updating skills development excel sheet.

Training and Development-

  • Arrange venues & refreshments for training.
  • Lease with training service providers about training dates. Provide and document attendance registers.
  • Assist HR Manager with ad hoc projects

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

Administration management, Labour relations, Employment Equity Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, BEE Code of Good Practice (beneficial), HR Functions and Excel skills, Microsoft Word, Excellent Communication skills.

Education and Experience:

  • HR Management Diploma (Required)
  • 3 years of HR Experience (Required).
