Are you extremely helpful, remarkably organized and incredibly hard-working? We are looking for an empathetic and energetic HR Coordinator to perform the administrative tasks of the HR Team. A passion for making the workplace a more inclusive and dynamic environment is preferred. A good sense of humour is a must, as well as the desire to go the extra mile. Come ready to roll up your sleeves and have some fun along the way. We are looking for someone with 1-2 years of experience to help handle day-to-day HR responsibilities such as:

  • Oversight of agency benefits plans benefit invoice reconciliation and annual open enrolment.
  • Coordinating onboarding efforts for new hires including I9 verifications, paperwork and HR systems training.
  • Managing Paid Time Off database, conducting monthly audits reconciling data and sending out weekly time keeping reports, as necessary.
  • Coordinating and supporting HR initiatives (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Wellness, Mentor and Social Committee programs).
  • Researching state and federal employment regulations on a regular basis for each office to ensure compliance.
  • Announcing rewards and recognition.
  • Updating job descriptions and maintaining current HR documents and employee records.
  • Completing monthly metrics reports and employment verification.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of HR experience and a desire to make a positive impact in the agency by helping our employees bring their whole selves to work.
  • Must have a passion for client service excellence for our most important clients – our colleagues!
  • Top notch organization and communication skills with a proven track record of going above and beyond.
  • An ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and understand different personalities.
  • A pro-active personality with the capability to anticipate action.
  • A curious mind for process improvement and fresh HR ideas.
  • Experience with Bamboo HR, Paychex and/or Advantage preferred but not required.
