Limbani HR Solutions is hiring for HR Assistant

We are looking for a skilled HR Assistant who will recruit, support, and develop talent through developing policies and managing procedures. The goal will be to provide excellent assistance and support to employees and line managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems. Provide admin support on policies and procedures. Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, and managing the hiring process.
  • Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
  • Support the training officer in developing training and development programs.
  • Assist in performance management processes.
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and POPIA legal requirements.
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance in line with the Department of Labour.
  • Provide payroll support.

Requirements and skills:

  • Diploma or Degree in HR, business administration, Industrial Psychology, or relevant field; HR Credentials (e.g., member of the SABPP) is a plus Proven experience, minimum of two years as an HR officer, administrator, or other HR position.
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.)
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures. Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS – payroll systems is an advantage.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
  • Strong ethics and reliability.

Note: This flexible-work remote position, however, will be required to work on-site twice a week.
