We are a prominent company in the waterworks sector. Being a multi-disciplinary organization, all the people who work for us are multi-skilled.  Multi-tasking is a prominent feature of our environment.

Our work is technical in nature, so you need to be a fast learner. Accuracy is everything, so the ability to check and re – check your work is a requisite skill.

We do not work in a fancy glass box. We work in a technical environment. We don’t always work with well-groomed gentlemen and listed company directors with long, fancy cars. We work with engineers, artisans, technical staff, driving bakkies. The ability to work under pressure or according to certain deadlines is important.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will be honest, well groomed, neat, emotionally stable, have clean and sober habits, and be a non-smoker.
• Often, we will be preparing bids and tenders and would require you to assist us until the tender is completed. That means overtime work. We try to accommodate our team members in this regard, but it does sometimes happen that overtime work is required.
• You should be able to speak, read and write English and Afrikaans fluently. Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel, Google experience is essential. Experience of Accounting packages like Xero would be beneficial.
• Experience in completing tenders, bills of quantities, product lists, price lists, datasheets, and related processes would be of benefit during the shortlisting period.
• A suitable or relevant qualification is essential. A good understanding of mathematics or any technical subject would assist you to adapt more easily.
• We need a list of contactable references (preferably former employers), and a list of work you have done that would convince us that you are the right candidate. We will contact every individual reference on the list.
