Description:

Underberg BUILD IT has been established for 1 year and plans to build a great reputation, both nationally and in the local area under new ownership. We are looking for a full time SALES and FLOOR MANAGER to work approximately 45 hours a week. Applicants must be prepared to work shifts and public holidays.

Responsibilities:

Operational Duties-

  • All regional and National marketing Campaigns and pricing campaign are implemented on time and driven through on all platforms for customer interaction.
  • As well as ensuring all team understand what the campaign is about and putting in systems to monitor their implementation and results thereof.
  • Ensure that the team is looking presentable at all time and can welcome a customer into our store and treat them as a GUEST.
  • Customer orders are processed timeously and effectively.
  • Ensuring customers’ expectations are exceeded daily.
  • Floors walks ensuring the standards of company are maintained within the parameters set out by build it Central Office.
  • Need to manage stock to ensure the best interest of the customer and company are respected.

Practical Duties-

  • Retail Operations Check Lists are completed on a cycle basis.
  • Cross merchandising systems are implemented and maintained to ensure customer experience is above normal.
  • Customer stock requests are attended to and communicated with the customer.
  • Daily operational activities are executed.
  • Team members are supported to execute their roles and candidate can cover in their absence.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a retail or Hardware experience.
  • Bilingual (English and isiZulu).
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel).
  • Showing an interest in the hardware industry and drive to become part of a team and grow a business.
  • Driver’s license with experience.
  • Sales skills with financial understanding to support during a sale.
  • Previous team leadership experience.
