Safari West is looking for a Gift Shop Salesclerk

Safari West Guest Resort and Wildlife Preserve is hiring full and part-time salesclerks for our gift shop. The gift shop is a nature store with an emphasis on African wildlife as well as an outstanding “rock shop.” There is also a variety of clothes, jewellery, toys, and nature games for children. The gift shop is where our overnight guests check out in the morning as well.

We observe safety protocols such as barriers, masks, gloves, regular cleaning, and disinfecting as well as social distancing.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have a positive attitude and the ability to work well with others.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service while positively interacting with guests.
• Solid computer skills are required to facilitate the guest check-out process.
• Be a savvy decision-maker who can “think on his/her feet”.
• Attention to detail and quality in handling all transactions.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in retail is preferred.
