Full Job Description:

African Ancestry is looking for a motivated individual who can exhibit extreme attention to detail, organization, and excellence while delivering for our customers in a small but fast-growing company. As a Fulfilment and Sourcing Manager you will oversee all aspect of the business related to inventory of our products. We are seeking a strong communicator and problem-solver. We want someone who can maintain great relationships with our 3rd party vendors and has the capability to make high-level decisions that will continue to shape and grow our fulfilment process to match the continued growing customer demand.

Education: Associate degree or higher

Location: Remote now; must be able to commute to office locations in DC and Maryland

Note: Background Check and Drug Test required prior to start of employment

Duties and responsibilities:

• Oversee Fulfilment and Inventory Management using 3rd party Inventory Management and E-commerce systems (Ship Bob and Shopify)
• Ensure 3rd Party Fulfilment Center is meeting performance expectations and customer demand on packing and shipping products.
• Fulfil domestic and international orders using FedEx Platform and identify ways to address international shipping complications and roadblocks.
• Write Warehouse Receiving Orders (W.R.O’s) for all shipments of freight to ShipBob Fulfilment Center for receiving.
• Investigate orders not processed and solve any issues with delivery ensuring peak customer experience.
• Improve and manage the merchandise return program and process.
• Communicate between third party vendors for monthly orders of varied merchandise including paper products, customized products, and apparel.
• Establish quality control ensuring correct information on customer orders and customized merchandise.
• Manage movement/delivery of inventory stored between two office locations in DC and Maryland.
