Hypercheck is looking for Front Admin Manager
The HYPERCHECK Group has an exciting opportunity for a FRONT ADMIN MANAGER for their retail store in over port.
Job Purpose:
- Manage all monetary transactions.
- Manage all payroll and HR matters.
- Ensure customers are processed efficiently.
- Deliver excellent customer service. Control all customer returns.
- Manage the administration of Operational Health and Safety requirements.
Cash Control-
- Ensure that only staff who have received the required training work as cashiers, cash controllers, and front-end controllers.
- Ensure that cashiers, front-end controllers, and cash controllers are working according to policies that manage their areas of work.
- Ensure that all forms, documents, and reports that control the movements of cash and goods are in place and maintained.
- Ensure that all administration is filed neatly.
- Ensure that the department is sufficiently equipped with the required equipment and stationery at all times.
- Ensure that all equipment in the department is functional and report all issues to the head office cash department.
- Ensure every day that all administration is accurate and complete.
- Ensure every day that all cash and cash equivalents are balancing.
- Submit all administration to the head office according to schedule, complete and correct.
- Respond to all queries and investigations from the head office timeously
Front end control-
- Manage parcel counter staff, activities, discs, and notice boards.
- Manage all customer queries from the department according to company policy.
- Ensure that all staff working at the front end receive the required training.
- Ensure that all required equipment and stationery are in place and are in regular use.
- Maintain control over all voids, customer refunds, and pricing queries according to company policy.
- Ensure schedules are in place to control all staff working at the front end with a focus on control and customer processing
Staff Management-
- Be a part of the interview process when filling vacancies.
- Manage every staff member against predefined criteria.
- Ensure that every staff receives full training.
- Mentor to all subordinates.
- Develop staff to be leaders in their positions.
- Mete out discipline when required according to HR procedures.
- Attend inquiries.
Qualification, Competencies & Experience:
- Education, Completed grade 12, Competencies.
- Knowledge and experience in budgeting, financial management, and auditing.
- Excellent organizational management skills.
Experience: Experience in a similar position in retail, Experience in supervising and managing staff
