Requirements:

• Should be able to drive both heavy and light vehicles
• Should have valid license

Responsibilities:

• Picking up and setting down passengers with due care for their safety.
• Ensuring the vehicle is driven safely at all times.
• Appearing presentable and being courteous and polite to passengers at all times.
• Driving the vehicles according to set daily schedules.
• Carrying out daily safety and maintenance checks on the bus.
• Reporting to the control room any road accidents or incidents that may disrupt the vehicle schedule.
• Maintaining accurate records of vehicle mileage, routes and time.
• Ensuring that the legal passenger and load capacities are not exceeded.
• Maintaining order and security on the bus.
• Ensuring the vehicles are safely parked and secured at the end of a shift.
• Completing all assignments during and after a shift.
