Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Director, the B Vow Coordinator will ensure the implementation of clinical services for participants in the B Vow Program which is a grant to integrate mental health and physical health. B Vow Coordinator supervise and direct staff with providing group, individual, and family psychotherapy, as well as provide home-based services, wellness community services and outreach services in Service Area 6. B Vow coordinator will coordinate all aspects of the program as well as participate in providing Direct Services at and abbreviated rate as directed by division director. Coordinator will be responsible for attending County meetings related directly to the program as well as reviewing and co-signing required staff documentation.
Essential Functions:
- Provide review psychiatric assessments to participants of the program. This will be adults, youth and children
- Provide direction of supervision of individual, group therapy and case management services to participants of the B Vow program
- Collaborate with our health partners and other participants of the B Vow grant as well as any other supports in the community .
- Complete all documentation within the standards of the Department of Mental Health in a timely manner
- Ensure that staff Maintain a minimum of 70% billing productivity monthly
- Work on other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Division Director
- Coordinate all aspects of the B Vow program including outcome measures and staff meetings.
- Attain LPS designation within 6 months of date of hire
- Supervision of MSW interns
- Supervise program staff team members
- Provide direct service and productivity at an abbreviated rate as directed by program director.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This person will clinically and administratively unlicensed clinical staff.
- Attend program related meetings
- Review and sign staff documentation
- Participate in quality assurance review
- Participate in on call rotation
- Minimum Qualifications – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- LMFT or LCSW
- Currently registered with the Board of Behavioural Science
- Demonstrated ability to work with at-risk African and African American clients residing in Service Area 6.
- Knowledge and ability to work with at–risk minority populations
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- Ability to function as a member of an interdisciplinary team
- Possess a valid California driver’s license and appropriate automobile insurance. Proof of California driver’s license must be submitted to the Human Resources Department.
- Ability to perform duties on some weekday evenings, holidays and weekend days when required
- FTE 40 hours/week
- Verification employment and background check, and TB test
- Regular attendance required
