My client, well-respected retail and wholesale meat company is looking for a Branch Manager for their City Deep Store. The person they appoint will oversee the retail side of the operation + a new initiative they are working on, (Fish production/packing plant).
Requirements:
- Must have retail experience, preferably in cold store and refrigeration, and preferably in a stand-alone butchery. Own transport is necessary.
- Ability to work a 10-hour shift. Clean criminal record.
- Rotational weekend shifts. Leadership/management skills.
Assertive:
- Able to work at pace, unattended, and “own the branch” i.e. income statement/profit and loss account.
- Work under pressure in a tough environment.
