Job description:

Permanent Part Time Butcher (min 24 hours plus lots of overtime)

We are looking for a hard worker in our happy and fast-paced North London Branch to CUT AND SERVE meat over the counter. As peak season starts, we expect as usual to have busy days, catering to customers travelling from all over the country to buy our highly sought-after white maize, grass fed beef and groceries.

Successful Candidate will be:

Experienced with using a bandsaw cutting machine (if not, must be able to demonstrate a great sense of maturity, responsibility, and willingness to learn butchery skills).
Familiar with meat (mainly beef)
An Artistic flare and great attention to detail. Successful candidate will be responsible for creating the meat display and topping up.
Ideally a bubbly personality, able to create lasting relationships with our customers who tend to be repeat during peak season
Polite and experienced in the customer service area
Hard Working and not afraid to be hands on. (This job requires lifting heavy weights)
Highly organised and good with numbers
Work includes packaging parcels for deliveries
A meat lover will benefit from free meat products from our grass-fed selection
Food Hygiene Experience would be a bonus, but training WILL also be provided.
Hygiene conscious generally VERY CLEAN. We take food hygiene very seriously to ensure customers and staff are always safe.
Cleaning is required always, throughout the day and as and when necessary.
