About Company:
African Inspiration is a hospitality management company that manages hotels and lodges. We are currently recruiting a bookkeeper / accountant to work in the finance department and assist with the accounting of our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Finance and Accounting
- Debtors Management and Control (raising sales orders, invoices, sending statements, following up on payments and reporting)
- Creditors Management and Control (raising purchase orders, receiving, sending statements, performing supplier reconciliation)
- Cashbook
- Journal processing (accruals, reallocations, provisions)
- Reconciliations (FAR, credit card, petty cash, fleet, inventory, balance sheet GL accounts)
- Loan Account reconciliations
- Maintaining general ledger accounts and inventory codes
- Tax administration (VAT201 and EMP201 etc)
- Payroll Administration
- Reporting (Monthly management accounts)
- Administration
- HR administration
- General Administrative functions
- The job may require overtime and travel.
Experience:
- Bookkeeping – 3 years (Required)
- Education – Bachelors (Preferred)
Licence: Drivers (Required)
Language: English (Required)
