A Leading Supermarket Chain is looking to hire for the position of a Baker Section Manager

Minimum Education Level: High-School / Secondary

Age: Male, 40 years old and below

Education Required:

  • At least 3 years of experience as Chef De Partie/Pastry Chef/Head Chef who handles pastries in Hotels/Catering companies
  • Holder of bachelor’s degree or any relevant certificates
  • Must be presentable, driven, and proactive
  • Excellent communication skills, leadership skills, and people management
  • Can join immediately will be prioritized

Job Description:

  • Respond to customer complaints and queries.
  • Manage and motivate the team to meet sales targets and ensure efficiency.
  • Set objectives and ensure all sections in the department achieve the commercial targets (sales- margin) while maintaining company standards in terms of procedures.
  • Ensure proper stock management (stock value, control out of stock, orders, and merchandise deliveries) in coordination with the section managers.
  • Ensure competitive pricing and the discount concept is implemented in all parts or sections of the department.
  • Ensure all hygiene, safety requirements, and standards of preparation, preservation, and necessary packaging are adhered to.
  • Establish an attractive display implementation of merchandise.
