Tech lounge Café is a newly opened business providing a service of ‘Luxury Digital Dining’. What this means in so many words is that we are a boutique café, with interactive dining table surfaces that enable you to set the mood, surf the internet, and entertain you with games/apps, music apps like Spotify, and even built in speakers for every table.

Job description:

As a new business we require an experienced, passionate, and hardworking individual who is familiar with African, Caribbean, and American cuisine to join our team as an in-house chef/cook.

Duties:

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
• Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
• Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards
• Recording food temperatures
• Preparing reports
• Making hot drinks/ preparing and serving food
• working with the owner and other chefs to develop new dishes

Schedule: Day shift

Experience:

• Cook-1 year (Preferred)
• Restaurant-1 year (Preferred)

License: Basic Food Hygiene (Preferred)
