Description:
We are a small established company in the construction services and we require the services of an experienced (no less than 2 years +) admin lady who is client service orientated. The ideal candidate is dynamic, organized, responsible, and accountable and has a very strong administrative flair and analytical skills, as well as the ability to adapt to this ever-changing and very demanding environment in a small office setup.
The following are an excerpt of the key performance areas:
Perform general office administration Assistance with administration of client orders, from beginning to end Follow up on leads both telephonic and via the website and compile monthly leads and quotes reports. Preparation of invoices in Excel and Sage. Compile VAT reports Stock coordination: Supplier liaison and ordering any other ad hoc admin duties as required from time to time
Personal characteristics that are required:
- Pro-active and self-driven. Valid driver’s license and own transport are a must.
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines, understanding that every day is extremely varied, ever-changing, and busy, and loving it.
- Being able to multi-task on various levels.
- A very important skill of attention to detail.
- Excellent coordinating skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel (spreadsheets), MS Word (processing), and Sage.
- Logic, structured thinking skills/analytical mind.
- Very sound interpersonal communication skills in both Afrikaans and English (read, write and speak).
- Qualification in Office Administration and/ or Bookkeeping Diploma.
- Experience in a similar position is preferred but not necessary as will be trained.
- Computer literate with excellent writing and communication skills.
