A self-starter with a passion for technology solutions, you are comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a collaborative, goal-oriented atmosphere. You have a reputation for being reliable, customer–focused and approach your daily work in an efficient, highly organized manner.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Sales prospecting for B2B technology solutions, including structured cabling, wireless, premise security and telephony.
  • Managing a growing portfolio of existing customer relationships to cross-sell solutions that enhance connectivity in the workplace.
  • Developing and coordinating sales activities to identify new market opportunities.
  • Developing new contacts and sales leads via active prospecting, referrals, leads and personal networking and initiatives.
  • Preparing and presenting quotes in conjunction with in-house subject matter experts.
  • Sales reporting and analysis
  • Community participation, including representing Cabco at industry events

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year’s experience in a sales-focused role needed, with an IT background an asset
  • Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal, presentation, customer service, communication (both verbal and written), time management and organizational skills
  • Must be able to prioritize work, be flexible, and work with minimum supervision
  • You are process oriented; you can work a territory, servicing customers while following established sales processes
  • You have the energy, motivation and confidence to engage in prospecting activities
  • You are ambitious and driven, constantly striving to improve and be the best you can be
  • You are technologically savvy with Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), CRMs and adapt quickly to new technology
  • You have a passion for technology solutions and a willingness to learn new product offerings
  • You thrive in meeting timelines and objectives in a competitive environment
  • You have a valid driver’s license
