You will be part of a commercial team. You will be responsible for strengthening the business growth by building strong relationships with our business partners and working closely with the Marketing team in analyzing and measuring market share and business development against key metrics of marketing & sales activities.

Across Africa, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases are increasing, and over the next 10 years, OMRON has built new investment plans to accelerate services and products to help prevent and manage chronic conditions.

As OMRON North Africa Sales Manager, you will be responsible for a number of key markets that include Algeria, Egypt, and Morocco. Egypt will be the primary focus.

Key Activities:

  • Establish good relationships with business partners and sub-distributors.
  • Plan a yearly, mid-term budget and execute the plan with business partners.
  • Execute field visits to analyze performance evaluation, opportunities & threats and report necessary actions.
  • Achieve budget sales figures, drive performance to new levels, and seek business development opportunities in related markets.
  • Organize & coordinate annual trade plans, promotions, and marketing activities.
  • Management of local Key Opinion Leaders
  • Responsible for optimizing product mix & launch new products.
  • Deliver seamless coordination between Supply Chain Management, Finance, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory to ensure the best customer and consumer service in each domain.

About you:

This is a role for a sales professional who can find and develop new business opportunities and manage existing business partners focusing on results. The candidate will now be comfortable coordinating industry and company teams to drive product launches. Experience with selling to pharmacies is an advantage but not mandatory.

To be succeed in the role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of business administration, engineering, or related departments of prominent universities
  • 4 7 years relevant sales experience in preferably FMCG or Healthcare with account management experience in significant regional or national customers
  • A driven individual who enjoys achieving targets and measuring performance with solid negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of OTC Sales, the pharmaceutical market, and/or a medical environment is advantageous.
  • Trade marketing experience and pharmacy channel management in a multinational company is an advantage.
  • Management of sales/ medical representatives is a plus
  • Having a multi-disciplinary perspective, self-motivation, and a high level of energy.
  • Proficient in the English language, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of contract law is advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Driver s license
