Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Compile information & records, to draw up purchase orders for procurement of packaging materials & follow up with suppliers to ensure on time delivery.
  • Seeing that purchasing processes & administration of all purchase orders are created & completed within 24 hours of scheduled production, to ensure accurate and on time delivery of dry goods.
  • Accurate and on time capturing to ensure up to date & correct data is on the system (SAGE). Monitor stock levels to ensure stock is kept within minimum levels.
  • Ensure compliance with QMS protocol & procedures are adhered to.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Post Matric qualification in Purchasing / Stores will be an added advantage.
  • Min. 2 years exp. in a similar role preferable within a wine / bottling environment.
  • Sound understanding of purchasing procedures.
  • Stores & stock take procedure knowledge.
  • Dry Goods product knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Excellent administration & decision-making skills.
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook), SAGE system advantageous.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure is essential.
  • Good judgement, interpersonal and communication skills.
