Description:

Clothing company looking for a Senior Payroll Administrator to be responsible for managing activities related to the processing of weekly and monthly payroll including maintaining or updating the HR Master Data and organisational structures, processing salaries, increase and bonus payments through the payroll system. Includes preparing Cost to Company (CTC) statements for Human Resources divisions, processing of Exiting employees. Ability to generate reports for management in accordance with established policies, procedures and controls. This person must be able to work with the pressure of regular deadlines. This position requires a person who is highly organized and pays great attention to detail. Experience with 350+ employees is essential.

Duties:

  • Provide a cost-effective payroll administration service compliant with corporate governance and statutory requirements.
  • Provide an effective and efficient salary processing administrative service.
  • Process weekly and monthly salaries and salaries related transactions.
  • Processing payable hours, overtime, commissions, bonuses, tax, PAYE, UIF, EMP 201, 501, Skills Levies etc.
  • Prepare Offers, CTC statements for HR divisions on request.
  • Payroll Reconciliation.
  • Continuously review systems and processes to improve efficiency and cost savings.
  • Introduce new ideas or improvements to streamline the payroll system.
  • Staying informed and keeping abreast of company policies, tax legislation and system changes that impact on remuneration and payroll functions.
  • Provide an effective and efficient Time and Attendance administrative service.
  • Submission of journals to finance.
  • Ensuring benefits are captured and processed correctly.
  • Completes monthly reconciliation with Medical Aid, Pension, PAYE, other reports.
  • Maintaining employee records (contracts).
  • Providing BBBEE administrative duties.
  • Facilitates Injury on Duty and Workmen’s Comp processes with Local Dept of Labour.
  • Assist HR Team to co-ordinate and organise interviews, assessments, liaison with hiring managers.
  • Assist with compiling information for WSP and EE submissions.
  • Facilitate all exit employee admin: UIF, Pension withdrawal, Medical Aid Exit.
  • Facilitate admin and logistics for Dept. Of Labour Inspections and Financial Audits. Build effective relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Stand-in duties for the HR Division when needed.

Experience:

SAGE VIP Premier ESSENTIAL, 4-8 Years payroll experience, Payroll qualification would be an added advantage.
